Top 10 Experiences of 2019

2019 was a pretty good year, all things considered. Played some good games, saw some good media, had some great times with family and friends. Here’s my top 10 highlights in chronological order. Only new experiences in my list, so only the first season of shows, and the first plays of a game were eligible.

My Top 10 Games of 2019

When thinking about a formula for my top 10 games of 2019, I knew it had to take into account both hours played and times played. In 2019 I played Sagrada 13 times for a total of 6 hours, and I played Terraforming Mars 4 times, for a total of 10 hours. It seems like simply adding the 2 numbers together would be a fair way to even out those two variables.

Revised New Years Resolution

Near the end of 2018, I replied in a New Years Resolution thread, saying that, in 2019, I wanted to complete the 10×10 challenge, (10 plays of 10 games) and have 250 game plays all up. I had just bought the BG Stats app, which could start tracking these things for me, and it seemed a feasible goal. 3 weeks into the new year, I’m going to modify that goal.
