Wingtip – Graphic Design

Continued from Wingtip Bonuses

I have built the first 3 sides of the bird cards, and as I have progressed, I have found things I have needed to tweak and adjust. This has meant revisiting the cards and adjusting things. But I think I am at a pretty good place now.

I have decided against adding a graphic to the Habitat Icon. They will be small on a poker sized card, and the 3 colours do the job cleanly. I am using the coloured “dice” from the Player Boards to indicate a Wild food requirement, because we only have 3 colours of food. If people find it confusing with the square habitat colours, I will be open to other suggestions.

I have added the card notation in the bottom right, which just seemed like a good bookkeeping thing. If I need to go back and adjust something on a card, (like making the “E” in “Eagle” a capital) I can now go directly to it.

And I have cleaned up the End of Round Bonus space. I’ve made the iconography a bit clearer, and made it obvious what the bonus is.

Full speed ahead.

I feel that maybe choosing the same colors for the food and for the biomes may get confusing, more than the use of similar shapes on the birds cards.

      Hi Brenoit,

That’s a very good point. I was trying to keep it vibrant, but the matching colours could cause confusion. Will mute the food colours a bit.

      Cheers
