Dragonvale – Paradise Event 2021 – Breeding an Enfis Dragon

And finally we have the Enfis dragon. A rainbow dragon this time. And it has the common rainbow breeding requirement.

Any 4 elements

Luckily, it can be a fail from an attempt at any of the other Event dragons. But if you have them all, and you want the easiest path to this one, let’s look at some combinations that have only 4 elements. Plant and fire are 2 elements you definitely want to have in the mix. Adding lightning gives us Cactus, Scorch, Firefly, Thistle and Ash, so that seems like a good third. So let’s try a few different 4ths. How about cold …

Poison + Storm

The 3% breeding chance means 23 attempts are needed for a 50/50 chance. This will be the same number for each 4 element combination. (Unless the set percentages go over 100%.) This means the chance for breeding an Enfis will be the same, no matter what dragons you try. The thing we are looking for is the shortest average fail time. This means, that on average, the fails will be over quickest, and we can try again. And/or it will cost, on average, the fewest gems to speed up the breed, so we can try again.

Using cold has giving us an 11.33 hour average fail time. Let’s substitute earth.

Poison + Quake

That’s a much smaller average fail. We lose Sun, and gain Crystal. But I think the main thing is that we dropped the set percentage by more than 20%, so we have a much bigger chance of Cactus, Fower, Firefly and Scorch. We lose the 2 opposite dragons, Blue Fire and Frostfire, and we only have 11 golden hybrids instead of 12.

Average fail time is 8.89 hours. Which takes off a full 2 days to get to a 50/50 chance. Looking at the short timed dragons, which includes Forest and Snootroot, I’m not sure any other 4 elements could be better. I’ll try adding water. It will have to replace lightning, because they are opposites.

Poison + Mud

So this adds Hanno, and the set percentages are 10% higher than Poison + Quake. This means the average fail time is nearly 10 and a half hours. This means the best breeding pair is

Poison + Quake. Breeding non-stop for 7 days in the CBC will give you a 44% chance of breeding one. If you have an upgraded Island or Cave, saving you 20% of time, breeding for a week will give you nearly 52% chance. Breeding in all 3 caves for the week, will give you 67 attempts at getting an Enfis, resulting in an 87% chance. Higher if you speed up fails with gems. And higher when you add in attempts made in the Rift.

Cloning an Enfis

Enfis is a rainbow dragon. So cloning with it adds all 10 elements into the mix. But cloning, does also give the chance of breeding, and so those percentages will be combined. I choose a Cactus dragon, for variety.

Enfis dragon cloning statistics

The set percentages are nearly 500% when you breed with a rainbow dragon at the moment. The 3% breed chance of Enfis, drops to 0.54%. But when added to the 3% clone chance, you need just 20 attempts to have a 50/50 chance of getting one. The average fail is a very high 14.73 hours, which equates to 12.27 days. So you are better off breeding Poison + Quake to try for it. Forest/Snootroot + Firefly/Scorch is almost as good.

Or maybe you’ll get it as a fail, when trying for one of the other event dragons. Good luck.
