Dragonvale – Spring Event 2022 – Luck of the Vale

A new event has started, and it brings with it, the Luck of the Vale.

Luck of the Vale

There are 3 permanent event dragons, that can only be obtained by buying them from the market, or cloning them in the Cooperative Breeding Cave. I’ll post some thoughts, from easiest to hardest.

Luck Dragon

The first dragon is a Treasure dragon that shares the plant and earth elements. The regular hybrid with the shortest breed time is Moss.

Luck dragon clone stats

10% chance of cloning it, means 7 attempts required for an even money shot. Average fail time of 10.725 hours, means 3.13 days for that even money shot. But 12 hours is a long breed time. Let’s try the Forest dragon, to see if that’s better.

Luck dragon clone with Forest

Average fail time drops to 10.465 hours, so time for a 50/50 shot drops to 3.05 days. It’s fairly close, but Forest + Luck is the best combination to clone.

Redbeard Dragon

This dragons shares plant, cold and lightning elements. Cactus is the best dragon for cloning.

Redbeard dragon clone stats

10% chance, so 7 breeds required. 10.84 hours average fail time, means 3.16 days before you have a 50/50 shot of cloning one.

Triple Rainbow Dragon

The final one is a new rainbow dragon, and accordingly, it shares all 10 elements. And therefore, there an awful lot of fails. Poison is the way to go.

Triple Rainbow clone stats

With only 0.5% chance of cloning, it will take 140 attempts for a 50/50 chance to get one. With a 15.35 hour average fail time, it will take 89.53 days for that even money shot. It seems likely that it will be a permanent dragon after this event. So whilst it might seem hard to get right now, I am sure we’ll be thankful for how infrequently you will be breed them in the future.

I will post again next weekend when the first limited is released. In the mean time, happy breeding everyone. I wish you all the Luck of the Vale.
