The Canvas dragon has been added, and it has a specific breeding combination.
Sumi + Iron Blossom
This combination of dragons has the elements plant, fire, earth, air & metal …
… which will result in 46 dragons at this time. A total of 122.25% in set breeding chances, means no regular dragons can result and the 2% chance of breeding a Canvas dragon drops to 1.64%. This low breeding percentage means you will have an even money chance of breeding one after you have tried 43 times. And multiplying that by a 13.95 hour average fail time, means you need to try for 25 days for that 50/50 shot. You’ll have an average of 16 breeding attempts in the 9 days the Canvas dragon is available (not counting using gems to speed up the fails). This will give you a 23% chance of breeding one.
Cloning a Canvas dragon
Canvas has the same 5 elements as above when cloning with it. And, as I’ve said before, when Plant and Fire are available, my recommendation for cloning is
Poison + Canvas
The set % is slightly higher at 131.75%. But the average fail time when using Poison as a parent drops to 12.55 hours. The 4% cloning chance, drops to 3.04%. And multiplied with the average fail time, gives just over 12 days for your 50/50 shot at a Canvas dragon. The 9 days the dragon is available equates to an average of 18 attempts with Poison + Canvas (not counting spending gems to speed up fails). This will give you a 42% chance of getting one.
