The Grace dragon is the next limited dragon in the Valentines Day event. It’s breeding combination is a specific dragon + 2 elements.
CUDDLEWING + Water + Light
The regular dragon with those 2 elements, and the shortest breed time, is Lotus. Oh, and that makes 6 elements in the mix, so a lot of possible combinations.
Over 150% of set breed times, so no regular dragons are possible, and the 2.5% chance of breeding a Grace dragon drops to 1.63%. This means 43 attempts for an even money chance of getting one. Average fail time of 13.14 hours makes it over 23.5 days breeding non stop for that 50/50 chance. The 13 attempts you could do in 7 days means just 20% chance of breeding one in a cave.
Grace Clone
Grace has only 4 elements when you breed with it; water, earth, light & lightning. The regular dragons with the shortest breed time are Mud, Flash or Quake.
With only 4 elements, we have less than 100% of set breeding percentages. So Grace gets all 4% of it’s cloning chance, and 17 attempts will give you an even money shot. 12.74 hours average fail time, mean just over 9 days of non stop breeding for a 50/50 shot of getting one in the CBC.
However, the breeding substitute elements of the Grace dragon, include the 2 you need to breed for it. So breeding your Cuddlewing dragon with a friends Grace dragon, will combine the chance of breeding and cloning.
Grace Breed + Clone
Those parents give you just under 150% of set breeding percentage. The combined breeding/cloning chance of 6.5% drops to 4.41% (10% higher than straight cloning by itself). This means only 16 attempts are required for a 50/50 shot, and even with the higher average fail of 13.2 hours, it will take 8.8 days for an even money chance. The 13 attempts you have in this week (with spending gems on speed ups) will give you a 44% chance of getting one with this combination. This gives you the highest chance to breed one, so my recommendation for getting a Grace dragon is
Cuddlewing + Grace
But just like with the Giddle dragon, you can actually combine your attempts in the CBC to try to clone one of the “permanent” event dragons, whilst breeding for the Grace dragon.
Breeding Grace and Cloning Canna
A friends Canna dragon has the water & light elements required to pair with your Cuddlewing. So you can breed for Grace, whilst trying to clone for Canna, if you still need one.
Again, the nearly 150% of set breeding chances drops your breed chance of Grace to 1.68% and your clone chance of Canna to 3.37%. Together they are 5.05%, so only 14 attempts to have a 50/50 chance of breeding/cloning one or the other. Average fail time of 13.11 hours, means 7.65 days for an even money shot. The 13 times available in the week (without spending gems on speed ups) will get you to 49% chance of getting either of them.
